Product Description

RK-C43 is a type of silicone antifoam emulsion designed to control foam in aggressive foaming environments such as those typically encountered in pulping washing and wastewater treatment.

Application Process:

RK-C43 could be added directly or diluted to be a low content.

RK-C43 could be directly diluted with water, but should be used up immediately. If storage will be a certain period of time after dilution, please consult our company, and a professional dilution methods will be provided.

The recommended addition is 0.05-0.5kg of per ton pulp, and the recommended addition for water treatment is generally 10-1000ppm. According to your specific condition, optimum volume of addition could be adjusted.

The addition point is generally selected in areas where defoamers are easily dispersed, and can be continuously added by using metering pump.

Antifoam for pulp process:

Anionic surfactants are formed by chemical reaction between alkali and wood or Straw grass during cooking process.

Silicone defoamer or non-silicone defoamer are usually used for pulp preparation.Silicone and non-silicone defoamer has it's own focus according to different raw materials.Silicone defoamer series are more efficient in pulp washing with hard wood and soft wood as raw materials. Silicone based defoamer series are usually continuously added to the filtered black liquor during pulp washing process.
