Product Description

Reasons for foaming in textile printing and dyeing:

1. The sizing process and the high-speed movement of the yarn will cause a lot of foam to appear.
2. In the pre-treatment process, when desizing the product and using scouring agents and detergents for bleaching and washing, high-temperature scouring is used to produce foam in order to penetrate the fabric better and more evenly.
3. During the medium-temperature and high-temperature dyeing processes, the vibration of mechanical operation causes foam.
4. Foam is generated during the mixing process and the stirring of the color paste during the printing process.

RK-23S is a kind of silicone defoamer; it has excellent defoaming & antifoaming performance at low dosage. It's mainly used in textile printing, dyeing, and water treatment processes.

Application Process:
RK-23S could be added directly. The volume of addition is 0.5% ~ 0.6%. According to your specific conditions, the optimum volume of addition could be adjusted. A certain concentration of thickening water for dilution and a certain volume of preservatives need to be added if it's stored for a long time. If RK-23S is used immediately, you could add a certain proportion of water if the proportion is not too high, and you should use it in time. During the stirring, the speed could not be too fast, and mixing well was accepted.
